Whitton Life Community Hub
Located at 4 The Grn, Whitton, Lowestoft, NR33 9AZ (Next to the Premier Shop). We have a number of activities taking place in the week for local adults, families and children. We provide a faith space that is safe, warm and very welcoming. Activities are supervised by DBS checked staff and volunteers.
The Whitton Life Community Hub has been providing activities to small groups of all ages on the Whitton estate for 22 years (since 2000). We do NOT currently open on Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
It is a ‘Community Action’ that is funded and run by a local Christian church called London Road Baptist Church (LRBC) which is located on Kirkley Park Rd, Lowestoft. LRBC is a registered charity in England & Wales No. 1131765
Knit & Natter
Tuesdays: 9am - 1pm
A welcoming group that offers a private and safe space to sit, chat, knit, crochet, beadwork or any other type of craft, enjoy refreshments, and while away the time with a friendly and sociable group of adults.

LUNCHBOX
Wednesdays: 12pm - 2pm
We are a friendly group of over 60’s that meet weekly for a 2 course meal, entertainment
and a short devotion.
Meal costs are covered by minimum donation of £1
Lunch Box is a social gathering where we share a two course meal, cooked by our trained staff, followed by tea and coffee. We run a varied programme of entertainment and activities, and short devotion.
If you live alone, or simply would enjoy meeting new people and to not have to cook for yourself, then we would love to meet you. We think of ourselves as a family who support each other, celebrate together, and laugh and cry together.
Each week we have a thought for the day. We believe that our spirituality is important and so we bring a Christian faith based thought to encourage us in our daily lives.
Lunch Box is free, we simply ask for a donation towards the meal depending on what you feel it’s worth and what you can afford.

Family Coffee Morning
Thursdays: 9:30am - 11am (Term Time Only)
A group for pre school children to come and play. A support network for their parents and carers. Children receive a snack/drink. Tea/coffee and biscuits are available for the adults.
Costs 50p per session.

Cafe
Thursdays: 11:30am - 2pm
We offer a range of delicious affordable fresh food for the community, including free tea and coffee. The cafe is situated in the Whitton Life Community Hub and has a warm and friendly atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy being part of the wider family of LRBC.
Each week there are different specials to tempt you to stay a little longer or to tempt you back for another week.
