Courses at LRBC
We facilitate lots of discipleship courses and gatherings at London Road Baptist Church. The courses help you to explore and grow in your faith and provide valuable input into your life.
It is worth noting that the Alpha course is slightly different. It’s for people that wouldn’t consider themselves Christians. It gives you space to explore your views on life and faith. It is for people who have lots of questions and who want to set aside time to delve deeper into what they believe and why.

WEEKLY
A 12-Week Life-Changing Discipleship Course for men and women. This course does not focus on how to behave but on how to believe and how to break through to a greater level of spiritual maturity.

ALPHA COURSE

Alpha is 10 weeks of space to explore your views on life and faith.
it is for people who have lots of questions, who wouldn't consider themselves Christians, and who want to set aside time to delve deeper into what they believe and why.
Each week we will:
* have a meal together
* hear personal stories of how encountering Jesus has changed lives
*Watch a short film presenting key elements of the Christian faith
*Have discussion time where you can share your views, debate, and discuss.

GROWTH COURSE : GETTING INTO THE BIBLE

This is a gathering for anyone exploring faith/new to faith/or anyone who wants to start getting into the Bible
We will look at an overview as well as doing a simple reflective way of reading parts of the Bible together.
We will focus on one of the stories of Jesus’ life
We will meet for the term up to Christmas.
Each week we will have refreshments, reflection time & dig into the Bible!.
